“Enter into children’s play, and you will find the place where their minds, hearts, and souls meet.”
— Virginia Axline
As a licensed therapist specialized in play therapy, I hold a passion for helping children thrive through play and supporting parents in fostering stronger, more meaningful connections with their children. As an ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider (ADHD-CCSP), I also have specialized training in assessing, diagnosing, and working with children and families navigating the challenges of ADHD.
Parenting can feel overwhelming, especially when dealing with concerns like anxiety, behavioral struggles, or ADHD. My goal is to equip both children and their caregivers with the tools and insights they need to build deeper connections, enhance emotional resilience, and develop effective strategies for overcoming difficulties.
With extensive experience working with children of all ages, I take an evidence-based yet compassionate approach, ensuring that both children and parents feel supported, validated, and empowered. Whether your child is facing challenges with emotional regulation, social skills, or ADHD-related difficulties, I’m here to walk alongside you, offering guidance and practical solutions every step of the way. I believe every child is unique, and my approach is rooted in respect, understanding, and a commitment to making therapy a positive and transformative experience for the whole family.
About My Background
My journey in child psychology and counseling began with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Child Learning & Development from the University of Texas at Dallas, where I gained a deep understanding of child behavior, cognitive development, and learning processes. I then pursued my Master’s in Counseling at Southern Methodist University, where I refined my expertise in play therapy and child-focused interventions.
This academic foundation, combined with my continued professional development as an ADHD-CCSP, enables me to bring both knowledge and empathy to my work. Every step of my career has been driven by a dedication to supporting children and families in a meaningful, impactful way.
